I use the scheduler. When I export the livelinks in a txt file, I get a bunch of live links. Then a week later, I go back in to get more live links. However, the live links that i copied from the 1st time are all jambeled together in the text file for the 2nd time.

Any solution?

Also keen to hear an answer. Maybe could be done in excel using two columns, one with existing urls and one to paste in new ones, the third column would contain the exclusions. I've seen this somewhere before but not sure how to set it up?

I'm curious as to what "jambled" means. So far all my output has been fine.

i think he means the same thing i mentioned in another thread

if i report live links today and send them to my indexing network, then pull live links in a week or two and want to submit the new ones to my indexing network, they will be mixed in with the ones already submitted

i have been manually running a diff on the files to figure out what is new. it would be nice to have a feature for this, better yet some way that it auto gets these links on a regular basis and exports a list that can then picked up by our own tools and submitted automatically. Right you have to log in a few times for each submission to get an update. I would love to be able to pull an updated list automatically via one of my own scripts that submits it to linkilicious or backlink indexer, or better yet my private indexing network.

was thinking writing my own script that gets author links from the access db and runs independantly of amr to check every week for 4-6 weeks

For now, how about I just throw a date on when the livelink was first found and only update it if the field is null. Then output the date along with the link into the csv so you can sort by date.

Re: the scheduled autocheck, I have a plan for integration on that.

Yes This sounds phenomenal... when can we expect it and will my program auto-update this feature??

Oh I like to take my time on things you know how it is... lol. But I want to create another app that integrates with amr so that the auto-ll check will feed into it. Otherwise there isn't a lot of motivation for me to do it.

Think of all the support emails, isn't that motivation enough?

Seriously though, really would love to see this feature in AMR or in a separate program, just would love to have it!

umm..... without this feature, I am spending most of my time indexing links that have already been indexed, just so that I will get some of the new links in the batch. i.e. I can't get a list of the "new" live links so this is what I must do, index hundreds of links that i've already done before, wasting valuable hours of my time every week. This is a critical fault to your program being very useful and convenient, and I am currently downloading other article marketing programs because this one alone is not cutting it for me with the results.

And Now you joking about not taking our request seriously because you admit you are lazy? For real? I've heard a lot of good things about how supportive this Vince guy is,,, but I dunno this reply really errrks me.

It was a joke, don't get your panties in a ruffle. Ultimately it is up to him to sell what he wants and what is worth it for his time.

You can use the tool I mentioned earlier in another thread that compares two lists and finds the difference. That is what I was doing.

Wow hard not to come out and really speak my mind on that comment GH simply because what I WANT TO SAY will probably get me in trouble.

Anyways, whatever. Moving to a recurring business model it is.

Here's another idea. Do your initial LL search, then when you want to do it again in the future, sort the grid by the LiveLink URL column and select only the ones that don't have a url in it.

I was thinking about automating this with a script:

Look into db for author links
Scan author pages for articles
Compare list to current list on file
Submit new links to my indexing network

Purge old links every 3 months or so.

I just like things automated as much as possible and have VAs handle the rest.
Will your new tool make this process pointless?

No not at the moment.. the next tool will be some sort of alternative submitter that works along side amr. And that won't be done for quite some time.

What will be the difference between using AMR and using this alternative submitter.
Or can you not disclose much yet?
